About Us

A friend is more than just a companion; they are a source of comfort, strength, and joy.

At Your Friend CIC, we believe friendship is the cornerstone of a thriving community. It’s about being there in moments of triumph and trial, offering a listening ear, a helping hand, or simply a shared smile.

At 0.730 on the 8th September 2025 while I was starting my day in the usual fashion of a Gym Session and swim at the David Lloyd Centre in Worthing, I suffered a Heart Attack and drowned in the pool. Apparently I was unresponsive for 6 Minutes, and it was only due to the chance of an off duty Life Guard present and the staff at David Lloyd who helped to get me out of the pool and administer CPR and Defibrillator that I survived the Genetic condition of a Blood Clot and subsequent Heart attack which took the lives of my father aged 56 and my brother at 49.  I was rushed the Sussex County Hospital and straight in the the operating theatre and the blood clot was removed. I was reminded of my Genetics upon the return to the ward at 11AM on Monday when my youngest Son Tyler McCreanney visited me and I realized he is only 21, the same age I was when my father died pf his Heart Attack. Aaron McCreanney also visited and we talked about me slowing down a little in future.

Friendship fosters connections that empower and uplift, creating a network of support that helps individuals and communities’ flourish. Through our resources, stories, and programs, we aim to celebrate and nurture these priceless bonds, one connection at a time.
Jason McCreanney is now divorced with 2 grown up children, Aaron and Tyler. He is the proud owner of a Sproodle Dog called Denzil, and lives in the same house he developed 25 years ago, in Ferring. He has had many National and International companies and has been involved in many complex situations. His calm friendly manor has helped many hundreds of people.

He has designed and built this company to help others which he does free of charge. He has been grateful to receive bequeaths and donations which enable him to live and continue his work.

Together, we can continue to break barriers, nurture relationships, and empower individuals to thrive.
